Max Position Size

Max Position Size is the maximum number of contracts you can open simultaneously, depending on your account size.

The values of this parameter are displayed in the LMI Trade Report module in the buy power field and are measured in lots.

Most available instruments require 1 lot to open one standard contract. Micro contracts have reduced requirements. Please note that some instruments may require higher lot values to open a contract. During trading on funded accounts, the requirements may be increased.

Example: If your Max Position Size is 5, you can trade 3 contracts of crude oil (CL) and 2 contracts of gold (GC) simultaneously, meaning the total number of open contracts across all instruments cannot exceed 5 contracts.
